The OptiTex CD contains OptiTex's Small Business Version software. This Small Business Edition (EL1) package contains Digitize, Grade, Limited Pattern Design System or PDS and Marker Making.

PDS offers the most sophisticated Pattern Design System tools for pattern generation and editing. With OptiTex PDS, input of existing data into OptiTex is quick and easy. All subtle details of hard copy patterns will be maintained. Digitizing of tight curves is accurate and easy, with few points. Digitizing of complicated pieces takes seconds and can be made at any time.

OptiTex manual, automatic and interactive textile Marker Making software generates nested layouts at lightening speed while minimizing material waste. OptiTex textile Mark Module is designed to maximize productivity and minimize labor and material costs. Save time and money while cutting down on wasted fabric.

A unique list of Export capabilities makes OptiTex software the most flexible CAD system for sewn products on the market today and assures communication with the rest of the world. In this Small Business Version, supported export file formats are: DXF, AAMA, IGES, XML.

OptiTex software is fully compatible with most major manufacturers. This Small Business Edition supports most of Windows compatible printers and plotters and includes drivers for cutters. Plot width is limited to 110 cm. Plotters formats that are supported are: HPGL, HPGL-2, DM-PL.

This Small Business Edition (EL1) arrives with a very powerful Standard Automatic Nesting application, which incorporates an intelligent algorithm for nesting, thus dramatically reducing fabric waste.
